Adobe Analytics Diversifies and Spreads Wings

As always, Adobe keeps on improving its Real-Time Analytics to be more dynamic, competitive, and information-rich. The digital analytics help you propel customer intelligence through live analytics and detailed segmentation.

With its highly interactive programming interface (API), you’re sure to find countless ways to embed crucial customer information into the core of your digital marketing business.

This August, Adobe has introduced two new features into Adobe Analytics. They’ve also published an early announcement on Adobe Workspace that is soon to come.

Latest features in Adobe Analytics (August 2020)

Cross-Device Analytics (CDA) is now available in EMEA and APAC

Adobe introduced the Cross-Device Analytics for the simplified person-centric transformation of the analytics. It’s a feature that allows you to cross-match data collected on several platforms to better understand user preferences.

Adobe supports two digital analytics workflows for linking device data. Field-Based Stitching and Device Graph. The Field-Based Stitching approach works on a deterministic principle and lets you work on a virtual work suite. On the other hand, Device Graph can use both deterministic and probabilistic approaches to link devices together.

The Cross-Device Analytics feature has been exclusive to American customers. But considering its growing popularity, starting this August, customers from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific will get access to the CDA and the private graph.

Enhancement To Field-Based Stitching In Cross-Device Analytics (Available In Americas And EMEA)

Adobe has optimized its deterministic Field-Based Stitching for new Cross-Device Analytics customers. The company now allows analysts to stitch cross-device data based on a user-id.

Instead of using a co-op or private device graph, the customer will now be able to stitch based on information conserved in a prop or evar analytics field.

This upgrade simultaneously eliminates the requirement of exclusive chip ID (ECID) implementation and Cross-Device Analytics ID syncing for Field-Based Stitching. However, ECID and ID syncing for CDA may still be required for several other features and aspects.

This latest enhancement to Field-Based Stitching in Cross-Device Analytics is currently available in America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

(Early announcement) Workspace: Download 50K items for a single dimension

Adobe soon plans to allow the users to download 50,000 items in a freeform table for a specific dimension. This includes segments and filters applied to the corresponding items.

Outside of the Analysis Workspace, the user will have access to over 400 rows of data. So such an upgrade will allow the customers to enrich their data analytics with diverse options.

Customer Journey Analytics Now Supports Identity Map

To empower Digital Analytics, Adobe has long since introduced Customer Journey Analytics. It’s a feature that monitors online interactions performed by users and pinpoints their interests.

Customer Journey Analytics does more than just monitor customer activities. To smoothly surf the waves in Digital Marketing, it’s important to track user interactions, understand the trend and shift in taste, predict future traffic of interactions, etc.

Since Adobe likes to keep in sync with the everchanging Digital Marketing, they’ve introduced yet another feature to the Customer Journey Analytics.

Latest Feature In Customer Journey Analytics

Identity Map Option For Person ID

To create a better connection in Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe now allows the usage of the Identity Map as a person id.

The Identity Map works as a map data structure. It allows users to upload pairs of Key-Values. The identity namespaces work as ‘keys’ here. And the structure that holds the identity value is simply denoted as ‘value’.

In Digital Marketing, it’s important to introduce different schemas to maintain a consistent and reusable data structure. To keep the platform services running, adobe drives an Experience Data Model (XDM).

Any schema that bases on the XDM system, can be accessed by the Identity Map. For the corresponding datasets, you can either choose the primary ID or the identity map.

More User Friendly Features In Adobe Experience Manager

The Experience Manager introduced by Adobe Analytics is a content management platform. Using it, you can manage your business assets, enrich websites, generate forms, etc.

  • With the latest update, the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) commerce is now available as a cloud service. To get started with it, you need to integrate your Experience Manager Cloud Service with the Commerce Integration Framework (CIF) add-on.
  • You can now integrate your Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics with user interface improvements, Classic UI replacement, and Adobe Launch integration.
  • To calculate and determine assets, an Asset Compute Service has been launched. Since the Experience Manager has been reintroduced as a cloud service, it allows direct binary upload to binary cloud storage.
  • Updated Core Components and AEM Forms along with new courses and tutorials are available. Check under the Self-Help and community sections of Adobe Experience Manager for details.

To conclude, Adobe continues to assert strong dominance over Digital Marketing by introducing newer and more dynamic features in Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics. With the latest August update, more countries around the world can now access key Digital Analytics features.

Furthermore, Adobe Experience Manager got equipped with additional user-friendly options, alongside new courses and tutorials for beginners. And surely, it’ll keep getting better in the upcoming versions.
